STN continues to expand the availability of Ultimate Owner (/UO) and Ultimate Owner Standardized (/UOS) data in its patent databases. Effective March 1, 2025, UO and UOS data is available in the US patent databases, USPATFULL and USPAT2. The new fields provide the current owner of the IP. Include these new fields in your searching when you need to know about the entirety of an organization's current IP portfolio. Ultimate owner data is also available in CA/CAplusSM, INPADOCDB, INPAFAMDB, and the full text patent databases AUPATFULL, CANPATFULL, CNFULL, DEFULL, EPFULL, FRFULL, GBFULL, JPFULL, and PCTFULL. Watch for announcements of additional databases offering UO/UOS information.
The USPATFULL and USPAT2 Database Summary Sheets have been updated to reflect the latest enhancements in these databases.
