Claim Tags Enhancement Extended to Include WO Patents
Claim tags are now available in CAplus and in the PatentPak Interactive Viewer, for WO patents from 2014 to present. Coverage of additional backfile years is expected.
The Claim tags feature is also available for US patents (1975-present) and CN patents (2013-present).
The substances mentioned in the Claims section of patents are often of particular interest to patent searchers because of their legal importance. To make it easier to identify which substances indexed from a patent have been claimed, CAplus records now include Claim tags. These tags are visible in the PatentPak Interactive Viewer, as well as in the PPAK field of CAplus records:
