Sequence mismatches between the query and the subject are highlighted in red.
Partial sequence mismatches between the query and subject are highlighted in yellow and designated by + signs.
Patents
The Patents tab displays up to the first 10 patent documents in which the subject sequence occurs:
- Click the Get All Patent Numbers button to get all patents found (up to 5000) from an STN file.
- Click the Get Patent Number button to get an individual patent from an STN file.
Note: You have the option to save the action as a script.
Journals
The Journals tab displays up to the first 10 journal documents in which the subject sequence occurs:
- Click the Get All Accession Numbers button to get all journals found (up to 5000) from an STN file.
- Click the Get All PubMed IDs button to get all journals found (up to 5000) from MEDLINE.
- Click the Get Accession Number button to get an individual journal from an STN file.
- Click the Get PubMed ID button to get an individual journal from MEDLINE.
Note: You have the option to save either action as a script.
Subject
The Subject tab displays sequence-level detail for the subject (hit) sequence to which the query aligned:
- Sequence Length

CAS Registry Number®: Get registry numbers (RNs) for a particular sequence result in CAS Registry:
- Click the Get CAS Registry Number button to get the single RN.
- If multiple RNs, click the Get CAS Registry Numbers button to get all RNs (up to 5000).

GenBank Accession No: Get accession numbers for a particular sequence result:
- Click the Get GenBank Accession Number button to get the single GenBank accession number.
- If multiple accession numbers, click the Get GenBank Accession Nos. button to get all numbers (up to 5000).
- Organism: The NCBI Organism name associated with the sequence.

Sequence: To download the sequence in either .txt or .FASTA format, click the Download Sequence button, and then select the appropriate file type.
