Expanded Patent Authority Coverage in CA/CAplus Means Access to More Inventions, More Complete Patent Families
As scientific innovation becomes increasingly global, R&D and intellectual property leaders need a more complete view of the innovation landscape and relevant global patent families to support informed discovery and investment decisions. To serve these needs, the patent coverage of CA SM/CAplusSM, part of the CAS Content CollectionTM, has recently been expanded from 64 to 109 patent authorities. The expanded coverage means that more patents are now being covered, and that patent family information is now even more complete.
The entire list of new authorities appears below. Note especially the addition of Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Ukraine, and Vietnam. The previous coverage of Chile has been greatly expanded and now includes current Chilean patents.
